Motorists will be allowed to park for free in downtown Hagerstown at designated times during the holiday season. Free parking will begin Nov. 19 and continue until Christmas Day, City Finance Director Alfred Martin said.

HAGERSTOWN ? One case of a drug-resistant bacteria has been confirmed at a public school in Washington County, and the health department has reported at least three other cases of a less severe bacteria at two schools.
